You will always find me sipping on something warm during the day. After my morning cup of coffee I make the switch over to herbal tea or I really love this warming and grounding winter tonic. I just keep adding more hot water as I run out. It feels like the biggest hug!
Ingredients:
1 cup hot water
juice from 1/2 lemon
1/2 teaspoon of freshly grated turmeric
3 slices of fresh ginger
1 teaspoon of manuka honey
1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar
pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)
Directions:
01. Add the hot water and lemon juice into a mug with the freshly sliced ginger and turmeric.
02. Top with hot but not boiling water, and let the ingredients infuse in the hot water for about 3 minutes.
03. Add the apple cider vinegar, manuka honey, and pinch of cayenne pepper if you desire.
04. Sip this drink slowly and mindfully somewhere cozy and warm.
