Refreshing Spring Smoothie

A fresh and happy good morning to you all! 🥕🍊💛

Smoothies are most definitely part of my routine, I don’t think a day goes by without. I LOVE the ease, simplicity, nourishment and energy I get from drinking smoothies. Although I usually stick to a basic “recipe,” I love feeling inspired by the season and let the food around me guide my creations.

Say hello to my refreshing vibrant spring smoothie! 🍊💕🌷

I used a couple of blood oranges which have this beautiful purple color; how fun. Feel free to add your favorite protein, collagen, or any other boosters you enjoy!

Ingredients –

  • 1 small orange peeled
  • 1/2 cup chopped carrots
  • 1/2 cup frozen mango
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/4 cup non-dairy plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup cold water (or orange juice)
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds to garnish

 

Directions –

  1. 01. In a high speed blender, combine orange, carrots, mango, almond milk, yogurt, water and lemon juice.
  2. 02. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. 03. Enjoy!
